When Paul & Joe founder Sophie Albou was invited to design one of the suites at the country hotel and spa Les Etangs Corot, she mixed cultures and eras, bringing a Japanese influence to the space and filling it with colourful objects, many custom-made in the Paul & Joe Atelier. Details include a patchwork headboard and lampshades in Paul & Joe prints and framed photographs taken from advertising campaigns. The floral-print velvet armchair by Bretz is a snug nook for reading.
