New York’s hotel scene has never been more vibrant with new hotels popping up all over the grid and some of the city’s grandes dames have had long-overdue facelifts. In our Sept/Oct 2011 issue, we visited 17 of the best, including the Crosby Street Hotel (pictured above), a colourful and offbeat establishment that appeals to the design-savvy crowd who regularly flock to the Crosby Bar and Terrace.
